Twilight

When I was first given the book Twilight I read the inside cover and was completely weirded out by the whole thing. The book sat in a drawer for a couple of months until one day I was looking for a book to read on my way to Las Vegas to visit Tommy's family. I started reading it and fell in love with it. I read the rest of the books in a matter of weeks.

When I found out they were making a movie I was so excited to see it. Melanie Brower kept me on top of the whole thing. Casting of characters and such. Thanks Melanie. Later she invited me the premire of Twilight on Nov. 20th at 7:00 pm. I felt so priviledged because I knew we would get to see it before it's official release. I was so excited. I asked Tommy if he wanted to go and he said no but he said he would. What a great SUPPORTIVE husband I have!

So the night of the premire arrived and I was really excited. As we walked into the theater we were given a VIP pass that would later be used for prize giveaways. Tommy and I don't ever win anything, so we didn't think much of it. My pass had a squiggly line on it and I got a bookmark. Yeah for me. Tommy's pass had Jacob's name written on it. As the prizes were given away we realized that he was going to win a good prize. And we did!

This is a picture of the prize. Inside was a blanket that is so soft and looks like the skin of a wolf. A bottle of Fabreeze because Jacob always smells so bad, and a box of tissues because Jacob is a cry baby. Creative Melanie again!

The cutest part of the whole thing was the next day at school Camryn (Melanie's daughter) walked in and said, "Mrs. Deaver did you use that blanket that you won last night?" I said, "Why of course I did. It is the softest blanket ever!" Camryn again, "I am so glad that you won!"

I am glad we won too. We had a great night. I loved the movie and can't wait until the next one. Thanks Melanie for inviting us we really enjoyed it.
